Good Texas BBQ! Tender, flavorful ribs, amazing sides, generous portions, and great service. The potato salad was decent, just not 5 star, everything else on the tray was delicious. Definitely a spot we’ll be visiting again! 🍖

I am amazed at how good the brisket is here. I ordered the brisket sandwich. I was asked "chopped?" I asked, "can I get the sandwich with sliced brisket?" "Sure" was the response. It was truly an amazing sandwich. If you're in Denton and are craving some brisket, skip Buc-ee's and head to the Juicy Pig. I want to mention some of the other things that were amazing here. The pulled pork is extremely good. The sauces to put on your brisket, pulled pork, and et cetera were all amazing. The Lime-Aid was surprising great accompaniment to the food, so don't skip that either. I highly recommend taking the time to head to the Juicy Pig. You will not regret it.

When to grab a side of Mac n cheese … ended up sampling most of the menu! Omg, everything was so tasty! No missing any flavor here !!! Everything was great from the side to the deserts !

Really delicious BBQ spot close to downtown Denton! We tried the brisket and sausage, both were good. Loved that all the plates came with deviled eggs. Side wise we tried the cilantro jalapeño coleslaw (delicious) and the Mac and cheese (good but not great). Love that they had a gluten free menu, which includes most of the food aside from a few sides and the sandwiches. The staff was kind and knowledgeable about cross contamination too which was nice as I am celiac. We will definitely be back to try the loaded baked potatoes!

Juicy Pig BBQ was okay overall — not bad, but not great. My wife and I both had the chopped brisket sandwich combo, which came with a sandwich, side, and drink for $14. There were a few BBQ sauce options available: original, spicy, and Carolina Reaper. I tried the original and spicy, and both were good. For my side, I got the mac and cheese. It was warm and cheesy, but it lacked flavor on its own. I ended up adding some spicy sauce and chopped brisket, which helped quite a bit. My son had the pulled pork sandwich, and his review was basically “mid.” I tried it too, and I’d say that was pretty accurate. There’s not a lot of seating inside, but there’s plenty of seating outside on both sides of the building. The best part of the visit was actually the atmosphere outside. It was a nice day to sit at the picnic tables, and the mural on the building across the lot was really cool. I’d give it another try and next time I’d probably go for the ribs and maybe some pie.
